Garlic Sautéed Spinach

This is a quick, 10-minute recipe for garlic sautéed spinach. Spinach sautéed in sesame oil, garlic and Gochujang for a bit of kick! Get you daily fill of greens with this yummy, healthy side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 250 grams spinach washed and dried
  • 1/4 tsp salt add more to taste

for garnish (optional)

  • sesame seeds
  • chili flakes

Instructions

  • Trim the spinach stems, and wash the leaves well. Dry in a spinner.
  • In a large pot or dutch oven, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic on medium heat for 1 minute. Turn heat down, and add Gochujang and salt, and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add all of the spinach, and cook on medium heat until the spinach is wilted.
  • Plate, and garnish with sesame seeds and chili flakes (optional). Serve while warm, and ENJOY!
